The British Embassy, Stockholm

The British Embassy in Stockholm maintains and develops relations between the UK and Sweden, helps UK companies export to Sweden and Swedish companies to invest in the UK and provides services to British nationals living in and visiting Sweden. Innovair 

Innovair is the Swedish strategic innovation programme for aeronautics, which runs research and demonstrator programs for both civil and military aeronautics and involves all national actors, i.e., large industries (Saab and GKN Aerospace Sweden), SMEs, universities, institutes (FOI, RISE), agencies (Armed Forces, Swedish Defence Materiel Administration) and governmental bodies. www.innovair.org

GKN Aerospace 

GKN Aerospace is a major global tier one aerospace company. The Trollhättan, Sweden site is the HQ of GKN Aerospace Engine Business. On the engine side we are specialized in design, development and manufacturing of complex engine structures, rotors and modules. Our parts are found in over 90% of all the engines for Airbus and Boeing aircraft. We are also responsible for providing the engine of the Swedish Gripen aircraft and involved in the European space program as a centre of excellence for fuel pump turbines and exhaust nozzles. Skellefteå Airport


Skellefteå Airport is one of the largest regional airports in Sweden. The airport is owned by Skellefteå Municipality and has about 300,000 passengers per year. The airport offers domestic scheduled flights with a number of daily departures to Stockholm as well as seasonal flights to both domestic and international locations. The airport is fossil-free in its' own operations and has a strategic goal to become a centre for test and development of electrified aviation.
